Poly Arts for Youth

Cal Poly Arts offers a series of arts education and enrichment programs for young people through our Poly Arts for Youth (PAFY) program.

Throughout the 2011-12 Season, PAFY will augment regional K-12 Arts in Education curricula ~ greatly reduced by state and local budget cuts ~ with in-school appearances by Cal Poly Arts artists and performance groups. PAFY will also provide multiple opportunities for Cal Poly students to participate in creative activities with several of our world-class performers, such as a “community tap” with Savion Glover, drumming workshops with the On Ensemble, a master class with State Street Ballet, and a Ken Waldman poetry workshop.

For in-school activity details and PAFY program information, please contact Denise Leader Stoeber; 805/756-5914.

PAFY is supported in part by the Cal Poly Arts Youth Arts Education Endowment, the Adrienne Fissel Youth Outreach Endowment, James & Wendy Daly, and other generous PAFY supporters.

Additional PAFY contribuors include Jeffrey D. & Sharon Armstrong; Marty & Chip Claus; Charles Dana; Arthur & Joyce Duarte; Claudia Gilbert; Susan & Michael Gleason; Dr. Linda Halisky; Ethel Lenz; Joan Sargen; Michael & Maryellen Simkins; Dr. Dawn Starr & Family; Lucia & Paul Vanderheyden; La Cuesta Inn; Med+Stop Urgent Care Centers; Popolo Cafe.
