Poly Arts for Youth

Cal Poly Arts offers arts education and enrichment activities for young people through its Poly Arts for Youth (PAFY) program, providing grade school assemblies and classroom activities with touring artists and offering Cal Poly students the chance to participate in master classes with world-class performers.

In the 2012-13 season, we have 16 outreaches planned, including a bagpipe and drum workshop with The Black Watch Pipe & Drum Corps, a new-vaudeville master class with Avner the Eccentric, a Dia de los Muertos workshop with Quetzal, a grade school in-class visit by eco-hero Steve Trash, and a string quartet master class with the SLO Youth Symphony.

Please consider contributing to PAFY to help keep the arts alive for our students.

PAFY is supported in part by a generous grant from the Handler Family Fund, the Marcled Foundation, the Cal Poly Arts Youth Arts Education Endowment, the Adrienne Fissel Youth Outreach Endowment, Target Stores, and individual donors like you.
