Hailing from Great Britain, David Briggs is one of the most acclaimed organists in all of Europe. In his first Cal Poly Arts engagement, Briggs will play a broad mix of classical repertoire including pieces by Bach, Haydn, and Franck. His performance will also be laced with a large dose of his remarkable improvisation work, including an improvised accompaniment of Charlie Chaplin’s “The Immigrant.”
