Amanda Mole is the first-prize winner of several international competitions (Musashino-Tokyo, 2017; Miami, 2016, with audience prize) and national competitions (Poister, 2014; Rodland 2014). She is also a grateful recipient of the Peter B. Knock Award (2014). In 2016, she was chosen as one of The Diapason magazine's Top 20 Under 30 and, since 2017, she serves frequently as a juror for live and preliminary rounds of organ competitions. Amanda has performed and taught internationally at venues across the USA, Europe, and Japan, including two regional and four national conventions for which she received consistent excellent reviews, hailing her as a rising "star" and describing her as playing "with authority and flair."(Scott Cantrell in TAO, 2016) In March 2019, she released a solo CD with Naxos and, in 2020, she released a CD of trombone and organ music with Lisa Albrecht.
Originally from Holden, Massachusetts, Ms. Mole completed a DMA as a student of David Higgs at the Eastman School of Music. She earned her MM from Yale University where she studied with Martin Jean and, prior to Yale, she obtained a BM with honors at Eastman studying with William Porter. Earlier studies were with Larry Schipull and Patricia Snyder. Dr. Mole is a Visiting Lecturer of Organ and the University Organist at Cornell University for the 2025-2026 academic year. She is represented in North America by Karen McFarlane Artists, Inc.
