Join us for a happy hour at the Dallidet Adobe & Gardens on Friday, August 21 from 4PM - 6PM celebrating the power of the arts while helping make live performances accessible to our entire community.
Your $35 ticket helps expand access to the arts by providing a free ticket to our low-income neighbors who might not otherwise have the opportunity to attend a Cal Poly Arts performance. Raise a glass, celebrate the arts, and make a meaningful impact—one ticket at a time.

This event will also offer an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the upcoming 2026/27 season with Cal Poly Arts Director and Season Curator, Molly Clark. Molly will share how each season of 30+ artists and events comes together each year - offering insider stories about the artists, performances, and inspiration behind this year's selections.

Last year Cal Poly Arts distributed 1,300 free tickets to our low-income neighbors through community non-profits such as Housing Authority San Luis Obispo. Your support helps make this possible—every ticket purchased expands access for our ALL our neighbors, and together we can keep the arts welcoming, accessible, and inspiring for all!
ABOUT THE VENUE:
The Dallidet Adobe & Gardens is a treasured historic landmark located in the heart of San Luis Obispo, California. Designated California State Historical Landmark No. 720, the adobe is especially distinctive among Central Coast properties because it has had only two owners throughout its history.
Built in the 1850s by Pierre Hypolite Dallidet, the adobe became the longtime home of Pierre, his wife, Ascencion Concepcion Salazar, and their family. The Dallidets lived on the property for more than a century, shaping both the home and its surrounding gardens. In 1953, the couple’s youngest son, Paul Dallidet, deeded the property to the San Luis Obispo County Historical Society, now known as the History Center of San Luis Obispo County.
Today, the Dallidet Adobe & Gardens preserves the character and natural beauty of the family’s historic estate. More than an acre of lush gardens surrounds the adobe, with rustic paths and brick walkways winding through flowering shrubs, colorful blooms, secluded garden niches, and mature trees. Many of the plants date to the Dallidet family’s original late-19th-century garden.
Towering redwoods, a broad avocado tree, and an assortment of fruit, evergreen, and deciduous trees provide shade and create a peaceful, intimate atmosphere. Hummingbirds, seasonal flowers, and the garden’s ever-changing landscape add to its charm.
